The Scholars Program builds on Africa's strength by selecting the most talented high school graduates, helping them earn scholarships to study abroad, and equipping them to launch their careers in Africa.
B2R selects students from Rwanda and its neighbors – Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan. In addition to academic performance and English language skills, B2R considers students' leadership potential, people skills, and desire to make a difference in his or her country.
For the first 16 months of the program, Scholars immerse themselves in B2R’s rigorous Leadership Academy in Kigali with no guarantee of being awarded a university scholarship.
