CImber Winfrey

Development Coordinator

Cimber is from Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2017 with a degree in mass communications. She is passionate about empowering people through writing and graphic design and enjoys telling people's story in new and creative ways. As Development Coordinator, Cimber helps organize and execute fundraising efforts to grow B2R's donor base and circle of friends, as well as manage and develop engaging marketing materials to effectively communicate B2R's story. Outside work, Cimber is likely to be found with friends and family, traveling somewhere new, drinking too much coffee, at a concert or movie, discussing the Enneagram (shoutout to all my 6's), hiking around the Natural State, or trying not to binge that new Netflix series.

ABOUT CIMBER

ONE THING I'VE LEARNED ?

Having courage doesn’t mean you’re not afraid. It means feeling the fear and choosing to act because something matters more.

BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT ?

Doubt the doubt.

FAVORITE BOOK, MOVIE, OR PIECE OF ART ?

Favorite book – Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albon

Favorite movie – About Time

Favorite piece of art – River Flows In You by Yiruma

SOMEONE I ADMIRE ?

My mom. She continues to teach me to always see the best in people, to lead with kindness, and that it doesn’t matter how cute your outfit is if it’s not ironed.

SOMETHING I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT ?

All things chocolate.

SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ?

I don’t know how to whistle… It’s a real insecurity at this point.
