Jesse Mugisha is a B2R Fellow from Cohort 7 and a graduate of Texas Christian University, where he earned a degree in Environmental Science, focusing his research on sustainable solutions to major environmental challenges. He began his journey with B2R as an Isomo Writing Teacher, mentoring the second intake of Isomo scholars in Academic Writing and overseeing their growth in research writing. Jesse now serves as a Prep Teacher, contributing to the success of B2R's Academic programs. An avid education enthusiast, Jesse believes in the transformational power of intentional humor and Christian values in shaping Africa's future leaders. Jesse’s passion for teaching stems from the freedom to apply his college-earned skills to positively impact his community. He views teaching as a unique opportunity to engage with brilliant minds while developing public speaking and curriculum design expertise. He finds joy in breaking down barriers with humor, making learning a more enjoyable experience for his students.
