Emmanuel Bahizi the Chief Financial Officer at Kivu Choice, a soon to be vertically integrated tilapia farm, with plans to become the largest and most sustainable protein producer in Rwanda. Bahizi is a Bridge2Rwanda Fellow who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics and Business and is now completing a Master’s in Management and Finance at Harvard University. Following his graduation from UPenn, Bahizi served as the Executive Assistant in the Office of the CEO and Chairman of Bank of Kigali, the largest commercial bank in Rwanda. He was quickly elevated to a Corporate Banking Manager position, which he held prior to joining Kivu Choice. His passion for giving back to his country compelled him to decline lucrative job offers in the United States and instead return to Rwanda, where he has launched his career and encourages other graduates to repatriate.
