Lead English Teacher

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Luke moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to study Elementary Education with an emphasis in TESOL at Cornerstone University. After graduation, he taught English at several refugee camps in Greece, Uganda, and Egypt for about six months, where he developed a passion for empowering vulnerable people with language skills that would equip them for future success. His next journey brought him to Casablanca, Morocco, where he taught multilingual fifth-graders at an international American school. During his two years in Morocco, he earned a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Cornerstone University. At Bridge2Rwanda, he is teaches East Africa's brightest scholars how to develop the academic, language, and leadership skills necessary to earn international scholarships to study abroad and contribute towards their country's future success.
