BARBARA BABER

Scholar Support Coordinator

As a Student Support Coordinator, Barbara assists B2R Scholars in their transition to college in the U.S. and serves as a liaison between Scholars and their host families. She is genuinely interested in the holistic development of our Scholars and has extensive experience in working and teaching students of all ages, from middle school to graduate level. Barbara served for 17 years in higher education as a professor and administrator at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, University of Delaware, and Chicago State University. She has nearly 20 years experience as a teacher and administrator at Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy and the University of Chicago Charter School Woodlawn High School campus. Barbara has bachelors and masters degrees in Kinesiology, as well as the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification and the State of Illinois Master Teaching certification.
