Who We Are

Bridge2Rwanda seeks to connect with organizations and individuals who share our passion for the New Rwanda. We have been blessed to form mutually beneficial alliances with other global organizations at work in the country we’ve come to love. These alliances are creating synergies that will hasten our ability to help Rwandans transform their beloved nation.

  • Leadership Network/Halftime Group – Founded by Bob Buford 25 years ago to identify, connect and multiply high-capacity Kingdom leaders, Leadership Network has played an influential role in the rise of megachurches. In his 1994 book, Bob defined “Halftime” as a pause in mid-life that offers the opportunity to discover your Divine calling and to redirect your time and talent for an even more purposeful second half. Halftime Group helps mobilize “borrowed talent” and B2R outsources its accounting and administrative functions to Leadership Network.
  • Stone Ward – A marketing firm with offices in Chicago and Little Rock, whose philosophy of Building Good coupled with its owners’ passion for the New Rwanda, has become the communications agency partner to B2R.
  • Opportunity International – An industry pioneer and the largest micro-finance organization in the world motivated by the call of Jesus to serve the poor. Opportunity is the major shareholder of Urwego Opportunity Bank of Rwanda or "UOB".
  • Hendrix College – Partnered with B2R to establish the Rwanda Presidential Scholars program to offer U.S. scholarships to top-ranked Rwandan students majoring in the areas of math and science. Hendrix has created a consortium of U.S. colleges and universities to participate and provides administrative support to the program.

  • Engineering Ministries International – A firm that mobilizes volunteer architects, engineers and other professionals to donate their time and talent to design construction projects for Christian nonprofit organizations in developing countries. EMI has designed Muhabura University.

  • Rwanda Leadership Foundation – Founded by Gaylord Layton of Denver, CO to create and support the Computer Training Center at Sonrise School.
  • P.E.A.C.E. Plan – A lay movement organized by Rick Warren and Saddleback Church to mobilize average church members to change the world by promoting reconciliation, equipping leaders, assisting the poor, caring for the sick and educating the next generation. President Kagame has declared that Rwanda is the first purpose-driven nation and the country has become the site of the initial PEACE Plan pilot projects.
  • Fellowship Bible Church – Little Rock – Partnered with B2R to organize a city-wide campaign to send three containers of supplies to Sonrise School. Actively mobilizes “borrowed talent” to love and serve Rwanda.
