During this Christmas season, we want to thank you for helping us prepare the most promising and hardest working students in Rwanda for extraordinary lives as successful entrepreneurs and servant leaders.

We believe they are not only the hope of Rwanda, but also the long-term solution for all the problems that face Africa and the world… not job seekers, but job creators.

You have blessed us with your encouragement and prayers. Now, I am asking you to make a tax-deductible contribution to Bridge2Rwanda before the end of 2009. We need to raise $350,000 this year. Here’s why.

Our goal for 2010 is to target Rwanda’s best students - just as they are finishing high school and before they start college – to equip them to be global citizens and to give them a vision and purpose greater than themselves.

We want to teach them three things:

· First, how to communicate effectively using English and computers

· Second, how to think like an entrepreneur, and

· Third, how to live a life of meaning as a servant leader modeled after Jesus

But for us to accomplish this goal in 2010, we need your help. Before the end of this year, we need to raise:

· $100,000 to mobilize and support our growing team of American volunteers who are moving to Rwanda to teach and lend their talents to help Rwandans learn to do it for themselves.

· $250,000 to renovate the former military base given to Bishop John by the Rwanda government into a permanent Muhabura University campus in Musanze, where we can create a boarding school environment and begin teaching at least 250 students at a time.

We are grateful for your friendship and support. We don’t believe that it’s a coincidence that the path of your life and Rwanda has crossed. Our prayer is that you will invest in these remarkable students – to put your treasure where your heart is. We know that God will bless you like he has blessed Rwanda and all of us who have been called to love and serve this valuable little nation in the heart of Africa.

I know that times are challenging for many people in America. But compared to Rwanda, our undeniable abundance dares us to create more and better opportunities for these deserving students – future leaders you will be proud to know and support.

Now is the time to act – to partner with us. Make a meaningful tax-deductible contribution to Bridge2Rwanda before the end of this year by clicking here!

Thanks for your encouragement and support. All of us at Bridge2Rwanda want to wish you and your families a joyful Christmas as we all celebrate the wondrous gift of Jesus.

In His Hands,

Anna Reed resigned as a speech pathologist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital last summer and moved to Musanze, Rwanda to teach our students English. The quote above is one she likes to share with them. Your support of Bridge2Rwanda is building an enduring, two-way bridge to a new generation of young Rwandans committed to transforming their nation and continent. Please help us continue to serve them by making your tax-deductible contribution today.
