Bridge2Rwanda is helping Kigali International Community School (KICS) identify professionally qualified individuals to fill several teaching positions for the 2010-2011 school year. We consider these positions to be a wonderful opportunity for followers of Jesus to answer His call, to serve Rwanda and to have their lives transformed. Kigali International Community School (KICS), located in Kigali, Rwanda, is a Christian non-profit school, founded in 2006, which offers an educational program from Kindergarten through grade 12. While prioritizing placement for children of missionaries and Christian cross-cultural workers, KICS affords children of all nationalities an education similar to that offered by schools in the USA. KICS is a member school of the Association of Christian Schools International and is seeking accreditation from ACSI and MSA. KICS currently serves 185 students from 34 nationalities.

Tenure: The initial term is one year, beginning August 2010 (reporting to Rwanda in late July for orientation.) Subsequent contracts are from year-to-year.

Financial Support: KICS will provide a number of benefits while asking each of its teachers to participate in the mission of KICS by raising a very small amount of support for some personal expenses.
